ObsCure is a survival horror video game developed by Hydravision Entertainment and published by Microïds in 2004. It mocks the Teen Movie horror genre (ex: The Faculty) and each character you control is an stupid stereotype. The twist is that you manage two characters at once and each of them has a special ability. The other thing is that most of the monsters are fueled by Darkness, so you need to light them up before you can kill them. Original Archived Let's Play available at the Let's Play... Vectorman is set in a future where the Earth got so trashed that humans left the planet; robots (orbots?) were left behind to clean shit up so when the humans get back, the place is nice and neat (I was wondering where Pixar got the idea). While Vectorman was dumping trash on the sun, his supervisor was the victim of a workplace accident that caused him to turn evil and want to destroy the world or something. Vectorman returns from his trip hoping for a nice break but finds out that NOW HE HAS... Topics: let's play, MeccaPrime, Vectorman 1 and 2
Speed run of The Legend of Zelda, 2nd Quest, done on February 1 2006. Available in 4 versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60fps high/insane quality. Author's comments: After I finished my 22% game in Prime, I was trying to decide what game to run next. I had a couple ideas, but this wasn't one of them. I decided to do this game because no one wanted to run the second quest and Radix asked me. How could I possibly turn him down? Well, here it is, a second quest run of Zelda 1 with no... This is Resident Evil 1 for the Gameboy Color. Stop racking your brain trying to recall playing this in your childhood, because it was never released! Until now... Following the success of the original PlayStation edition Resident Evil in 1996, Capcom expanded the game in a number of ports - one of those planned was for the Game Boy Color. In 1999, HotGen Studios, Ltd., a company in the United Kingdom, was selected by Capcom to port the game. A game that until recently was probably one of the... Single-segment low% speed run of Resident Evil as Jill Valetine, using only the Knife and 4 extra healing items, done on May 28 2005. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. Author's comments: This is a start to finish single-segment completion of Resident Evil 1 for the psx using Jill. The following run is a knife-only run; this means that only the knife is used throughout the entire duration of this run. The final completion time is 1 hour 9 minutes... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Resident Evil: Resident Evil 1, Single-segment, low%, PlayStation
Speed run of Super Mario Bros. without using warp zones done on August 27 2005. Available in four versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high/insane quality. Author's comments: This is a run of all 32 stages in super mario bros. 1. This run could be better, and soon enough i guess i will try to improve this run. I dont know how soon that will be though. In this run i had a few mistakes, mainly my two deaths. Together, these death wasted about 25 seconds or so. If i do another... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Mario: Mario 1, NES
Speed run of Super Mario Bros., European version, without warp zones done on September 5 2005. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 50 fps high quality. Author's comments: Here is a run through 32 stages and it's not have the speed as "AndrewG" and Trevor through their 8 stages. I lost my flower six times but not died on the way. A few mistakes is terrible but i have tried to do it funny, so the run is nice through the first two worlds, I lost my flower on 3-1... Topics: Mario: Mario 1, NES
Speed run of The Legend of Zelda, done during July 2003. Uses 2nd controller Up+A warping. Available in 3 versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60fps high quality. Author's comments: I know that this time isn't much to write home about anymore, but before the advent of the emulator runs, this was the fastest Zelda time around by a pretty healthy margin. At the time that I posted this at TG, I claimed a cash bounty by breaking 36 minutes. The best time back then was over 37! Too many of... Topics: Legend of Zelda: Zelda 1, NES

Single-segment speed run of Resident Evil: Director's Cut on arrange mode, done on October 31 2004. Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality. Author's comments: My biggest gripes about using Chris compared to Jill is the loss of 2 inventory slots and the lack of the Bazooka. His perk, though, is his increased health - which equiates to 1-2 extra hits in some cases. With that said, I end up needing the Shotgun for a good portion of the run, and also for... Resident Evil (titled "Biohazard" in Japan) was released on the Playstation in 1996 and was directed by the now-heralded Shinji Mikami. It was one of the very first games to establish the phrase "survival horror." Known for its sluggish controls and bad voice acting, the classic game has now sold over 2.7 million copies. It established the concepts and characters that would stick around all the way to the recent Resident Evil 5, such as Chris Redfield, Albert Wesker and the...
